Saturday, we told you about Dr. Barth Green and Alonzo Mourning sending an injured child to Miami for further treatment. The Project Medishare/UM Global Institute team named her Baby Jean.
She was found in the rubble four days after the 7.0 earthquake and brought to the hospital at UN Headquarters located at the Port-au-Prince airport. The infant had broken ribs which requires doctors to intubate, but under current circumstances doctors have no way to intubate the child in order to keep her on a respirator. Baby Jean was taken to Miami so that she could receive proper treatment.
